Personal Development: Rules of being a Gentleman
What does it mean to be a Gentleman?
A gentleman is one who works to help others yet he does not seek any benefit or gratification in return. He selflessly helps and lives to serve others. Many times, a gentleman will stand up for something greater than himself, even if it puts him at risk.
How does one become a Gentleman?
The process begins with looking deep inside one’s inner being. One must understand who they are and what his/her purpose in life is. Without self awareness one can not know Allah. To know Allah, one must find himself. Even a great sinner can reform and find Allah. Part of the process of becoming a gentleman requires one to go through a process of transformation.
If we look into the life of Malcolm X, we see he was a criminal and outlaw in his youth. When he was locked in prison, he went through a process of transformation. As a result, he lived and died serving Islam and his community, changing the condition of those around him. Although he was later assassinated, he wasn’t afraid of dying, and it never stopped him from standing up for the truth.
Rules of Being A Gentleman:

Don’t Hurt or Abuse Anyone

Live Your Life To Please Allah
